Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable magnifications to be readily recognized at the closeup photographing by forming a magnification scale to one of an inner barrel or operating ring and providing an index corresponding to this scale to the other.
CONSTITUTION: An index 8 is provided on the scale ring 5 formed integrally with an operating ring 3 and an index line 8a extending in the radial direction from the index 8 is provided at the end face 5a of the ring 5. Magnification scales 9 are respectively formed in correspondence to the index 8 and index line 8a on the outside surface of an inner barrel 2. The scales 9 are obtained through calculation from the lens focal lengths determined by zooming operation and the lens extension quantities determined through focusing operation and are formed by the plural graduation lines indicating equal magnifications. Hence, by reading the correspondence relation of the index 8 or index line 8a and magnification scales 9, the magnifications may be readily recognized in the case of performing closeup photographing with the zoom lens.
