Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit automatic adjusting of the gap between paper feeding rollers by controlling a driving machanism on the basis of the output of a pressure detector which detects the pressure for widening the axial spacing between the rollers.
CONSTITUTION: The revolution shaft MX of a motor MOT is linked with a screw stick SS through a pressure sensor SEN. The pressure for windening the gap between a separate roller SR and a reverse roller RR is transmitted to the screw stick SS through an L-figure shaped lever LL and a shaft AX, and sensed by the pressure sensor SEN. When the output level of the pressure sensor SEN increases, the motor MOT is driven so that the gap between the separate roller SR and the reverse roller RR is widened, and when the output level becomes low, the motor is driven so that the gap is reduced.
