Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain high coercive force for a long time by applying the reforming technique for nonorganic material to iron powder.
CONSTITUTION: A raw magnetic material is obtained by contacting iron powder to one or more kinds of materials selected from mono-organic-phosphorus-acid ester, bis-organic-phosphorus-acid ester, and salt thereof. The constitution formulae of the- organic-phosphorus-acid ester, which can be used in this method is, for example, shown by the formulae. The organic-phosphorus-acid ester has a form wherein one or two of three acid radicals of phosphorus acid are esterificated. The remaining acid radicals exist as a form of free acid radical or as a form of salt neutralized by alkali.
