The motor 12 is horizontally transferred on a rail 15 while held by the crane 11. When having reached the fulcrum 23, the motor is gradually released from a crane 11. When the motor 12 has passed the fulcrum, the tip portion of the rail 24 becomes inclined to engage with the engaging portion 22 of a rail 19. Thereby, the motor 12 is transferred onto the rail 19 and carried into a base 18.
