Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a detection circuit which features the simple circuit constitution and can be used effectively even with the low power voltage, by using the signal amplifier and the current Miller circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Transistor TRQ1 which is biased by bias power source VS forms the signal amplifier; while TRQ2 and Q3 form the current Miller circuit each. When no signal vi is applied to TRQ1, i.e., at the time of silence, the voltage of power source V8 is controlled to secure the saturation for TRQ3. With supply of input signal vi under these conditions, current IQ1 of TRQ2 and collector output voltage v0 of TRQ3 become as shown by (b) and (c) each. Thus only the positive half cycle of the input signal is detected.
