Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to obtain the picture high in resolution, in any part of observation depth, by changing the number of apertures and the focal length of the transmission and reception means depending on the section toward the depth of observing area, at the ultrasonic pulse transmisson. CONSTITUTION:The sound field of the pickup objective is split into a plurality toward the depth of ultrasonic beam. Further, each sound field is split into a plurality of sections.
