CONSTITUTION: Olefin is polymerized in the presence of a catalyst consisting of (A) Ti cpd. selected from halogen cpd. and org. oxygenated cpd. of Ti, (B) V cpd. selected from halogen cpd. and org. oxygenated cpd. of V, (C) Hf cpd. selected from halogen cpd. and org. oxygenated cpd. of Hf, (D) a solid catalytic ingredient obtd. from the reaction of organoaluminum cpd. and an organoaluminum cpd. ingredient.
