Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform stabilization and attain a high accuracy through a very simple circuit, by prescribing the constants of a phase transformer and an AC filter.
CONSTITUTION: Power voltage 1 is used to energize a polyphase thyristor converter. The power voltage is changed by a phase transformer 12 into a phase appropriate for synchronization of phase control. The changed voltage is shaped by an AC filter 13. The filtering time constant of the filter 13 is made large enough to set a phase delay angle of almost 90°. As a result, the phase delay angle is always in the vicinity of -90° despite frequency change. Thus, a phase control synchronization signal can be produced by generating the output signal 11 of a ring counter 8 synchronized with the output of the AC filter. A signal delayed by about 90° by the AC filter 13 is converted by the AC transformer 12 into a phase convenient for the controlling of the thyristor converter and is therefore synchronized.
