Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the variation of varistor voltages caused by the variation of the ambient temperature as much as possible, by providing a plurality of electrode members on one side and fixing a heat-dissipating member on the other side.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of electrodes 10a∼10c are provided on one side, and a heat-dissipating member 12 comprising a metal member or alumina ceramics is fixed on the other side. For example, in the case of assembling in a micromotor in order to prevent noise voltages, varistor characteristics are provided in the direction of thickness, electrodes 10a∼10c are connected to commutators, respectively, and another electrode 11 is provided between the heat-dissipating member 12 and the member 9. In other cases, the varistor characteristics are given in the circumferential direction, and the electrode 11 can be omitted. In this constitution, the effect of the ambient temperature on the varistor voltage can be reduced, and an excellent noise-reducing effect can be obtained when used in a micromotor.
