Abstract

PURPOSE: To simultaneously perform preannealing and erase annealing through controlling of temperature of a dosimeter element and achieve the reduction of measurement time by performing lamp driving in an infrared ray heating method by combining a plurality of pulses.
CONSTITUTION: A controller 28 is started by a start button 29 to light an incandescent lamp 21 and the intensity of infrared rays incident to a thermoluminescence dosimeter element 10, the surface temperature of the element 10 and the emission of light from the element 10 are measured with a measuring instrument 27 via photoelectric multiplier 25. If in this case driving of the lamp 21 is performed with three pulse voltages, the glow curve of the element 10 is separated to the emission I of low temperature peak, emission II of main peak and heat radiation III accompanied with erase annealing.
