Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an incadescent lamp wherein the configuration of the inner surface of a lamp coated at the bulb inner surface with an infrared ray reflection film is formed into an ellipsoidal surface, and the length of the filament is controlled, whereby ununiformity in the temperature on the filament is reduced and the life of the lamp is prolonged.
CONSTITUTION: The inner surface of the bulb 1 is formed into a rotating ellipsoidal surface obtained by rotating an ellipse having focuses F1 and F2 using its arbor as a rotating shaft A. The inner surface of the bulb 1 is coated with an infrared ray reflection film.
