CONSTITUTION:When incoming arrives at main wire 3a, a B-board operator connects B-board trunk 6 and main-wire trunk 4a to path (1). If an extension to which it is transferred is busy in this case, path (1) is made free and it is stored in memory 8 in order to prevent this path (1) from being used for any other connection. Next, when new incoming arrives at main wire 3b, main-wire trunk 4b is connected to B-board trunk 6 through path (2). For example, if extension subscriber 5b is idle, a connection is made via path (3) to inform subscriber 5b of the main-wire incoming and the main wire is connected to the extension subscriber through path (4).
