Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize use of a timer for energization of garden lamp or the like for consecutive days without influence of power failure, by controlling the switching of the timer switch by a motor through a sensor and a switch connected in series to a power source.
CONSTITUTION: When the contact of a relay Ry is connected to NO by a timer switch SW1 and a sensor S connected in series to a power source V in the evening, a motor M is rotated by a switch SW2 which is in closed state, and switches SW1, SW2 are closed by a cooperating cam, so that a garden lamp 2 is energized. After expiration of the timer, switches SW1, SW2 are opened and the power to the lamp L is cut off, then the motor M stops. In the daytime, when the ralay Ry is reset, the motor M is rotated by the power through a switch SW3, and the switch SW2 is closed and switch SW3 is opened by the cam, so that the motor M stops, thereby returning the timer to the initial condition.
