Abstract
PURPOSE:To constitute coil joint device of two divided poloidal coil of nuclear fusion reactor with a minimum of three joints to join the protrusion with coil end and the joint enabling to assembly in narrow and limited space. CONSTITUTION:Toroidal coil 2 making magnetic field where plasma is enclosed within two divided vacuum vessel 1 is wound around the outer periphery of vacuum vessel. Coil connecting unit is divided into three parts with joints 7,8,9. This allows the weight of one piece to make light, further connection work may be performed from limited space 1b of vacuum vessel 1 with ease. Thus the tension force thereof may be fully born by connecting the ring type protrusion provided for the joint unit even if generating tension force within coil 2 during energizing.
