Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit a plurality of cables to be secured collectively and also with large restraining force by securing these cables at two points and providing a spacer among the cables for bending the cables between the two securement points.
CONSTITUTION: Three cables 1 are stacked in a stable form on a lower cleat member 3 and then covered with an upper cleat member 2 from above, and the cleat is secured by bolts 4 to a securement base 5. Two such securement sections are provided, with a spacer 6, for instance in the form of a spindle, provided among the three cables for bending the cables between these securement points. The spacer 6 acts like a wedge upon the cables 1 and exerts frictional forces thereto to prevent detachment thereof. In this way, the cables can be reliably secured with such a large restraining force.
