Abstract

PURPOSE: To clarify water at high efficiency and with low cost by an adsorption process using a complex made of an inorganic adsorbent on a synthetic resin carrier and a pasturization-deodorization process.
CONSTITUTION: Water to be treated contained in a reservoir 1 is driven by a pump 3 to flow through a stariner 2 to an adsorption tower, where it is treated by a comples adsorbent consisting of an active adsorbing agent on a synthetic high-polymer resin carrier. Then the water is fed to a pasturization-deodorization tower 4 and subjected to ultraviolet radiation and ozone. When the pressure in the tower 4 has resin, a pump 8 is driven to feed back-wash water from a treated water reservoir 7.
