Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable exchanging work of specimen tires to be performed simply by moving a slip ring in the axial direction by letting a revolving shaft provided with a slip-ring and a tire shaft mounted with the specimen tire oppose with each other on the coaxial center.
CONSTITUTION: In the tire running tester which measures the inside pressure and temperature of tires during running, a revolving shaft 12 provided with a slip ring 13 is equipped on a carriage in such a manner that it may be approached to and detached from a tire shaft 4 on the coaxial center to the tire shaft to which the specimen tire is to be mounted, while arrangement is so made that the mutually opposing ends of the tire shaft 4 and revolving shaft may be engaged by means of a connecting pin 22 and a hole 23 and in addition, a pair of connectors 25, 26 are provided to connect the measuring lead wires wired to the tire shaft 4 and the lead wires of the slip ring. Hence, electrical and mechanical connection is possible simply by moving the slip ring 13 and the labor of making reconnection or other at each exchanging of the specimen tires may be saved.
