CONSTITUTION:Stripping parts 1, 2 are provided with a pair of blades 13 and 14, 23 and 24 which oppose with each other respectively non-parallel and are slightly wider in the width of narrow width parts 3, 4 than the inside diameter covering of optical fibers. The spacing distance between the stripping parts 1, 2 is free. Hence, when the covering between a desired length of the optical fiber is notched by the blades 13 and 14, 23 and 24 and the stripping parts 1, 2 are spaced, then the long-length covering being held by the blades 13 and 14., 23 and 24 may be readily stripped with one operation.
