Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus excelling both in performace and in economy, by providing a quencher to cool high temperature gas, a reusable filter kept at nearly the same temperature as said quencher which removes dust and tar, and a ultrafine filter.
CONSTITUTION: A quencher 3 which cools high temperature process gas down to 60 to 160°C, a reusable filter kept at nearly the same temperature as said quencher 3 which removes majority of dust contained in gas and tar generated by quenching, namely, a dust-tar remover 11, and an ultrafine filter 18 kept at a temperature 10 to 20°C higher than that of the remover 11 which prevents condensation of components in the gas and evaporates ultrafine mist are composed together to set up an apparatus. The gas supplied from a piping 1 is led into the quencher 3 through a lead-in pipe 2, and is processed by the dust-tar remover 11 and ultrafine filter 18 to be analyzed by an analytical meter 20. Besides, by the steam lead-in pipes 8, 16 for cleaning, dust and tar are cleaned, and are discharged through discharge pipes 5, 13.
