Abstract

PURPOSE: To attempt to uniformalize the cutting quality of the blade surface in the full area, to partially improving the same, to prevent any damage in the outer blade and inner blade, and uniformalize the load of the motor.

CONSTITUTION: The angle of a blade edge 5 of an inner blade 3 rotating and slide-contacting the inner surface of an outer blade 1 is made different depending upon the distance from the cotation center. That is, the edge angle α in the section of the rotation center 4 side position A is made small and the edge angle β in the section of the outer peripheral side position B is made large. The variation of this edge angle may be made progressively larger as it reaches the outer peripheral side from the center side or it is made larger stepwise. since in the center side position A the cutting blade angle α is made smaller and the static cutting resistance is made smaller, the total cutting resistance is not increased, but it can be made equal to the outer peripher 1 side position B or drawn closer thereto. Accordingly, it gives forth to substantially uniform shaving quality in the full area of the outer blade. Particularly, in the case of a dome-shaped outer blade, since the center side position A has chances of contacting skin most frequently, the correlative improvement in the shaving quality becomes remarkable.
