Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the water production efficiency through proper extraction of non-condensible gas with a non-condensible gas extraction pipe positioned near an inflow point of cooling fluid to a cooling pipe of the condenser. CONSTITUTION:As the temperature of non-condensible gas is low thus increasing the specific gravity thereof near the inflow point to cooling pipes 3a of a condenser 3, it stagnates in a space 16. With a non-consible gas extraction pipe 17 comprising a porous tube or the like arranged in the space 16, a high concentration non-condensible gas can be extracted efficiently. Accordingly, the contact of the cooling pipes 3a with the steam is made without block thereby improving the efficiency of water production from seawater.
