Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the division output a zero as the input signal which becomes the divisor draws near the zero, so that even when a noise enters the input, no output with an amplified noise will be produced. CONSTITUTION:Between the emitter currents of transistors Q1 and Q7, the relationship of i4/(i4+i5)=I7/(I6+I7) becomes valid. When voltage VA is applied to Q3, I6+I7=VA/R3 is obtained. Since the circuit has been formed within one and the same chip, values of VBE of Q1 to Q7 are considered all equal; and when current i0 which flows through resistance R0 is calculated if base voltages of Q6 and Q7 are denoted by VC, a relationship i0=VC/R0 is obtained, and i4 and i5 will become (VC/R+ or -R3/R1 R0XVBXVC/VA)/2. When these values are inputted to differential amplifier circuit 27, VC/R is cancelled out and output porportionate to VB/VA is obtained. When VA=0, output SD is 0, since current I6 and I7 do not flow. When VA<0, output SD becomes negative output, because current source 21B is actuated to actuate, in turn, division part 15B. In this way, even if both VA and VB change, when division output becomes 0 as the divisor draws near 0, corresponding SD can be obtained.
