Abstract

PURPOSE: To adjust the position of a fender by coupling the other end of a cable connected to the fender through a sheave with a balance weight to floow the fender with the water level.
CONSTITUTION: A mounting base 2 for attaching a fender 1 thereto is so constructed as to elevationally move upon sliding thereof along a supporting guide 3. In order to floatedly follow the fender 1 with the water level, a buoy 4 is provided. A cable 6 secured at one end thereof to the quaywall 9 is engaged through sheaves 5, 7 and hung at the other with valance weight 8. The fender 8 can be simply adjusted with the water level by increasing or decreasing the weight.
