Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the noise and vibration for easy construction and renewal of a framework vibration-proof direct-coupled track by prestressing longitudinal members including elastic material on the bottom, and spacers via elastic packings by PC steel bars, assembling them in framework, and supporting rails thereon.
CONSTITUTION: A framework is composed of longitudinal members 2, spacers 3, elastic material 4, filler 5, elastic packings 6, and PC steel bars 7, and installed on a rigid foundation 8 with framework fixing protrusions 9. Rails 1 are laid on the framework. Since the center portion of the framework is released, the freedom of the material 4 becomes large to thereby obtain soft spring constant so as to reduce the transmission of vibration to underframe structure and to easily disassemble and remove the track when requiring replacement of the framework due to damage of th track.
