Abstract

PURPOSE: To get a flexible composite pipe with improved strength and without deformation, by inserting more than two polybutene pipes in a polyolefin corrugated pipe with a spacer between the inner pipes.
CONSTITUTION: At least two polybutene pipes 1a, 1b are inserted with a spacer 3 between themselves in a corrugated polyolefin pipe 2 to compose a flexible composite pipe. The corrugated pipe 2 has a crosectional shape suitable for stable insertion of inner pipes 1a, 1b and is made of polypropylene among various polyolefin resins in terms of thermal properties of the inner pipes. This composite pipe is superior in thermal insulation and life expectancy and easy to handle, especially with improved strength of the corrugated pipe 2 and without deformation of the inner pipes 1a, 1b.
