Spinning Methods And Devices For Manufacturing Artificial Fibers
(AREA)
Abstract
PURPOSE: The adhered end of bundles of hollow fibers is cut as air streams are supplied to the hollow parts of the fibers, thus blowing off the fine dusts formed by cutting outward to preventing the hollow fibers from clotting by fine dusts.
CONSTITUTION: Hollow fibers are collected into bundles, placed in the module case and an adhesive is applied. When the adhered end is cut, after the adhere hardens, to form the open end of hollow fibers, air streams are supplied to the hollow part of the fibers. The air streams are supplied by applying a pressurized air to the ouside of the hollow to pass through the membranes of hollow fibers or by supplying from an opened end when the hollow fibers have the open end on the other end.
