Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish massproduction of inner blades adapted to check the attachment of beard and skin dust with ease.
CONSTITUTION: Recesses 7 are cut on both sides of the inner blade material in a similar shape smaller than the desired inner blade while a synthetic resin film 8 of lower friction such as teflon is embedded in the recess by evaporation or the like. Finally, the inner blade material 6 is punched in a shape identical to the intended inner blade in such a manner to be made a size larger than the film section enough to leave an edge 3 of the inner. In this manner, the inner blade material 1 void of the synthetic resin film is massproduced in succession. The size of the punching is such that the portion of the edge 8 reaches about 0.1 mm in the inner blade. With such an arrangement, no coverage of the edge with the film ensures a better cutting quality. In addition, as the film 8 is embedded into the recess 7, it is hard to be peeled off and can withstand the protracted use.
