Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a multi-effect absorption type hot water device designed to increase room-heating efficiency by giving the heat of boiler exhaust gas to the refrigerant of the evaporator and thereby increasing the heat of the hot water at the time when the hot water is heated in an absorption type refrigerator.
CONSTITUTION: In a multi-purpose cold-hot water device consisting of evaporator 1, absorber 3, low-temperature reproducer 7, high-temperature reproducer 9, condenser 11, heat exchangers 6, 8 and pumps 5, 13; heat exchanger 14 is provided, which performs heat exchange between exhaust gas G after the liquid in high- temperature reproducer 9 of boiler 10 is heated, and the cold water or heat medium in cold water pipe 2 of evaporator 1. To the side of this heat exchanger 1 is connected cold-water pipe 2 via piping 15, and cold water or heat medium is made to circulate between evaporator 1 and heat exchanger 14 by means of cold water pump 16 provided in the middle of cold water pipe 2. By this structure, efficiency can be increased by about 20 per cent.
