Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the subject method and device wherein a continuous packaging film is creased beforehand in a section of a middle part folded shape, and developed and supplied to a bag-making filling and packaging machine, thereby to efficiently carry out the filling and packaging operations of solid matters.
CONSTITUTION: Rollers 13 and 13' are rotated and a partial force to shift both ear edges b and b of a film a to the centerline side is acted upon said ear edges, whereby the film a is positively tensed in the overlapped direction. Then, the film a is formed into a section of a middle part folded shaped by inner and outer guide plates 11, 11' and 12 and 12'. Then, the film is pressed from the upper and lower parts thereof by means of the preliminary creasing rollers thereby to carry out preliminary creasing. Then, the permanent creasing of the film is carried out by means of heating plates 15 and 15' and keep rollers 16 and 16'. Then, the film a is developed and introduced into a bag-making device, and shaped into a cylindrical form, and filled with solid matters.
