Abstract

PURPOSE: To transport stably slurry paint through a pipe by enclosing the end of the pipe with screens twice to thereby prevent abrupt blocking of the screens when transporting the paint from a paint tank through the pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A pipe 7 is enclosed at the end thereof in a tank 4 with double screens 9, 10. The inside screen is formed of 70 to 200μ mesh, and the outside screen is formed of 150 to 500μ mesh. Thus, the outside screeen 10 initially filters agglomerate of more than 150 to 500M mesh, and the inside screen 9 filters agglomerate of 70 to 200μ or higher mesh of that passed through the screen 10 to thereby largely reduce the pressure loss at the accumulated layer of the respective screen surface.
