Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly of the coil in a nuclear fusion equipment with a solid cylinder construction in which a cylinder is wound with poroidal coil at the center of the equipment and fixed by a support plate in contact with the end thereof securely fitted into a projection of a support frame.
CONSTITUTION: An internal poroidal coil 3a (hereinafter called coil) is wound around an internal support cylinder 11 as a winding frame like a solenoid coil. A feeder 19 and a cooling tube are led respectively upward and downward. Thus, an internal cylinder coil is formed. Likewise, an external cylinder construction is formed. A cylindrical projection 14a on a lower support plate 14 is fitted into the internal cylinder construction while the internal cylinder construction is fitted into the circumference of the projection. With a projection 15a on an upper support plate 15 inserted between the internal cylinder constrcution and the external cylinder construction, the support plates 14 and 15 are tightened with a through bolt and a nut 17. A liquid insulator is hardened under a normal temperature or by heating.
