PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a long timer time easily through AND between outputs of two oscillator circuits different in oscillation frequency. CONSTITUTION:The 1st oscillator circuit 12 oscillates at period T1 and the output shown by (a) can be obtained at the collector of transistor 2. The 2nd oscillator circuit 12a oscillates at period T2, and the output shown by (b) can be obtained at the collector of transistor 2a. At this time, thyristor 10 will not conduct unless both transistors are cut off at the same time. Denoting the 1st and 2nd oscillation frequencies by (f1) and (f2) respectively, timer time T3 becomes equal to 1/[f1-f2]. The long-period timer output can therefore be obtained without decreasing individual oscillation frequencies much.
