CONSTITUTION: The proper value of plate feed speed that is computed by feeding the setting signal of a cutting cycle setting device CRH to an operator OP is utilized as the speed reference of a plate feed driving device P-FEED-D so that plate feed can be performed in accordance with cutting cycle, and the effect of impact load on power supply, power supply disturbance, can be decreased by reducing acceleration and deceleration time. Further, the proper values of acceleration and deceleration speed that are obtained through computation is utilized as the speed reference of said plate feed driving device P-FEED-D similarly so that the probability of plate feed slip can be decreased. Moreover, the proper values of plate feed speed and acceleration and deceleration that are obtained through computation can be utilized as the speed reference of said driving device also.
