Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the high-accuracy and assured detection of the peak position with no deterioration of the SN ratio with emphasis at the high band like in case the reproduced output waveform is differentiated even though the reproduced output waveform may have some fluctuation. CONSTITUTION:Signal SI showing the peak at the inversion point of the record signal is obtained through reproducing head 1 and then undergoes shaping 2 based on the average level to be turned signal SD. Thus, signal SIP and SPH featuring the waveform along signal SI with nearly the same level are obtained at the emitters of transistor Tr13 and 14 while SI exceeds the average level and reaches the positive peak.
