Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a recorder of automatic inversion cassette type having dustproofness by providing notches which do not interfere with drive shafts, etc. to a cassette holder turning cooperatively with the operation of an eject button and closing one of the notches with a cover body. CONSTITUTION:A cassette holder 11 is proivided with notches so as not to interfere with reel shafts 4... during use of a cassette. One of the notches which becomes the top side thereof is held covered with a cover body 30 during the use of the cassette to provide dustproofing and insure the aesthetic appearance of the tape recorder. When the pin 15 which is provided to the shaft of this holder 11 and is supported by a rotating bearing 13 is turned, the holder stands upright and the holder 11 is automatically turned 180 deg. by the cooperative motion of the pinion 17 of the shaft, a pawl 19 turning this, a gear 18 integral with the pawl 19, a lever 20 provided with a pawl 23 turning the gear 18, etc. with the operation of the eject button 9. These constitutions enable the tape recorder of automatic inversion cassette type having dustproofness to be provided.
