Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of radio waves effectively by surrounding the portion to be discharged with cloth-type wave absorbers.
CONSTITUTION: Required discharge is performaed by opposing wire electrode 5 and material 3 to be discharged and generating spark discharge between them. In this case, the portion of radio wave leakage generating around electrode 5 and material 3 to be discharged is surrounded by cloth-type wave absorbers 12 to 16 which are connected to metal foil 21 attached to one side of the wave absorber so that the side attached with metal foil 21 is turned to the outside and, in addition, the material to be discharged can be detached by making opening/shutting of part 16 of the wave absorbers possible.
