Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the attitude error of the frequency caused by the gravity by attrating the ferromagnetic matrial sticked on the surface of the crystal oscillator via a permanent magnet from a distant place. CONSTITUTION:Ferromagnetic material 16 is sticked to the surface of oscillator 14 adhered to fixed terminal 14 through the spatter or evaporation method, and permanent magnet 15 is attached to cap 19 made of the non-magnetic material of the nickel silver or the like in opposition to material 16 and in parallel to the main vibrating surface of te oscillator. If the sucking force of magnet 15 is stronger than gravity A which is applied vertically to the main vibrating surface, the flexible direction of oscillator 14 has no change even though the oscillator may be turned over with the same direction. And the nature of the force is not inverted although the tension of oscillator surface 17a and the compressive force of 17b increase. Thus, the thin-type oscillator receives the reduced effect of the gravity due to the attitude as well as the decreased change of the frequency.
