Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a decorative sheet free of dust removal, by filling a joint part between the pattern pieces on a synthetic resin sheet with synthetic resin powder coated with a hot-melt adhesive, followed by bonding the resin powder at low temperatures readily.
CONSTITUTION: The pattern pieces 4 consisting of vinyl chloride resin, etc. are laminated on the nivyl chloride syeet 1 at a given interval. The joint part 5 between the pattern pieces 4 is filled with the powder 6, e.g. a blend of (a) vinyl chlonide resin powder coated with a hot-melt adhesive and (b) alunina, and the sheet 1 is then then heated at 100° to bond the powder 6 together and to the joint part 5, thus giving the continuous decorative sheet 7 for flooring materials.
EFFECT: The powder can be bonded firmly at low temperatures without causing heat deterioration of the sheet.
