Abstract

PURPOSE: To adjust the cycle of conveyance control, by changing the number of thinned-out pulses depending on the elongation of chain when low-cycle pulses are obtained by thinning out high-cycle pulses produced by a pulse generator interlocked with a conveyor.
CONSTITUTION: A conveyed article is loaded from a loader 1 onto a tray conveyor 2. When a tray reaches the top of a sorting chute 3, the conveyed article is dropped down to the chute 3 from the tray by an actuator 4. The pulse generator produces a sufficient amount of high-cycle pulses, which are entered into an adder 7. A sum is set by a digital switch 8 for the adder to take out the low-cycle pulses from the adder per high-cycle pulse during the one-tray pitch movement of the tray conveyor 2. Said sum is changed depending on the elongation of chain to adjust the number of the low-cycle pulses (conveyed distance solution), which are transmitted to a counter 9.
