Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in performance due to the distorsion resulting from a lapping operation thereby to improve the performance of a magnetic head by using a ferrite magnetic head without any lapping operation after a magnetic circuit constituting surface with a grinder. CONSTITUTION:A single crystal ferrite of Mn-Zn is cut with the use of an inner peripheral type diamond grind stone such that the surface 010 is made into a magnetic circuit constituting surface. The magnetic domain in a magnetic head is formed to have a construction, in which it is divided into small sections under a low worked distorsion. This construction facilitates the magnetizing process using a magnetizing rotations in a high frequency magnetic field so that the performance of the head may be improved.
