Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the subject device wherein a lead-in wire is guided through both sides of a base while pressing the same by movable members each having a V-shaped groove, and, at the same time, is clamped by two movable members from the inner side, whereby the base inserting operation is completely automated.

CONSTITUTION: A raising and lowering rod 9 is operated using as a driving source a cam-lever operation to raise or lower a slider 10. The guide 11 of the slider 10 is set in a stationary bracket 12, and falls until a stopper comes into collision therewith. In this state, inner side lead-in wire guides 14 and 15 are inserted into the inner side of the lead-in wire. Thereafter, a spring 16 is compressed and a V- shaped member 17 presses wedges 18 and 19 of outer lead-in wire guides, the guides 14 and 15 are pressed and expanded in slight quantities, and lead-in wires 2 and 3 are pressed outo the end parts 21 of outer lead-in wires 4 and 5. In this state, a lower base receiver 20 ascends, and the lower end part of the lead-in wire is inserted in the base pin hole in a depth of about 0.5 to 1 mm. Thereafter, inner and outer guides escape and a lower base 6 is pushed until it approaches the lamp 1, thereby to insert deeply the lead-in wrie in the base pin hole.
