When the pipes 1a, 1b are bent higher with regard to the coupling pipe 2 on the contrary, the upper half of the packings 4 are deformed more than the initial compression and the watertightness is kept unchanged even if the compression of the lower hald is reduced, and the idle rings 5 are easily movable together with the pipes 1a, 1b along the spherical surfaces 16 of the fixed rings 11
