Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for coupling refuse box with refuse collecting vehicle, suited for power inverting the refuse box to the refuse introducing opening of the refuse collecting vehicle, which enables only one operator to carry out operation of attaching and detaching the refuse box to the tail gate of the refuse collecting box with ease.

CONSTITUTION: In the apparatus for coupling refuse box to refuse collecting vehicle by inverting refuse box 3 to the position of refuse introducing opening 12 formed at the rear end of the tail gate of the refuse collecting vehicle, by the use of driving force of refuse compressing turning panel 11 provided in the tail gate 5; upper and lower rods 1, 2 are provided symmetrically on both sides of the refuse box 3 at the front end thereof, in the manner that they project outsards from the body of the refuse box 3. Lateral beam 4 for supporting these rods 1, 2 in freely detachable manner is mounted in freely rotatable manner on the side of tail gate 5, between refuse box attaching and detaching position and the position where the refuse box 3 is tilted to couple the same to the refuce introducing opening of the tail gate 5, and coupling plate 8, 8 formed with holes 6, 7 for loosely receiving the coupling rods 1, 2, respectively, are connected to the lateral beam 4, such that they can be pivotally turned between one position where they are coupled with the rods 1, 2 and another position where they are out of engagement with the rods 1, 2
