Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a positioning controller which can enhance the processing capacity thereof upon request by variably setting the conveying speed and acceleration and deceleration rate of a conveying table to correspond to the type and frictional factor of material to be conveyed per unit length in weight.
CONSTITUTION: A standard speed generator 12 for producing a standard speed signal of a conveying speed of material to be conveyed is connected through an input limiter 13 to a drive unit 11 for driving a conveying table. The limiter 13 is a function generator for limiting the acceleration or deceleration. The acceleration or deceleration rate is set by an acceleration or deceleration rate setting circuti 14. A standard conveying speed setting circuit 15, a frictional factor setting circuit 16, a material information setting circuit 17 for setting material information such as weight per unit length based on the type of the material or the like are connected to the circuits 12, 14. A bias setting circuit 18 is connected to the circuit 14, and reference numeral 19 indicates material decelerating or stopping position detecting signal
