Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the exclusive channel for clocks and oscillator for bias and simplify the construction by making common use of the clock signal for time sharing and the bias signal for high frequency biasing. CONSTITUTION:When the original signal having a certain frequency band width is inputted to a demultiplexer 3, the demultiplexer 3 time-shares the original signal to two signals and outputs the time-shared two signals to level holding circuits 61, 62 of respective channels. The outputs of the level holding circuits 61, 62 are synthesized with the clock signal and are inputted to recording heads H1, H2 via recording amplifiers AW1, AW2 and the signals having been synthesized with the clock signal are recorded in a magnetic recording medium.
