PURPOSE:To improve reliability and durability of a cylinder liner for an internal combustion engine by constituting same such that individual sections of an inner surface of the cylinder liner which are contacted respectively by a piston ring, a lead copper ring, and an oil scraper ring are achieved with finishes best suited for respective functions thereof.
