Abstract

CONSTITUTION:In case a coating layer is removed to a desired length from the end of a wire having the coating layer on its outer circumference, a coating layer A to be removed is inserted into a refractory cylinder 4 equipped with a heater 5, and the boundary between the coating layer A and a coating layer B to be left on the outer circumference of a core 2 is formed with a cut C. After the coating layer A is heated by the heater 5, the cylinder 4 is pulled to the end of a wire 1 so that the coating layer A is easily separated and removed from the coating layer B.
