Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable information to be reproduced stably without groove skipping and recorded signal to be reproduced with high fidelity by removing the protrusions on the surface of informatio recording carrier. CONSTITUTION:The glass disc having undergone polishing 1, cleaning 2 and resist coating 3 is rotated, is recorded 4 with information signal by a laser beam and is removed of the radiated portions by developing 5. Next, a masger disc is produced by silver mirror-Ni plating 6. Further, a mother disc is repoduced by Ni plating 7 and a thermoplastic resin is pressd 9 by the stamper disc reproduced by the second Ni plating 8 of the mother disc. The rerecorded disc having been pressed is traced 12 by the use of a stylus to be scraped off of convex protrusions. Next, the rerecorded disc is cleaned 13 and is reproduced as a master disc by silver mirror-Ni plating 14 and further the mother disc then stamper disc are obtained by Ni plating 15, 16 and the rerecorded disc of thermoplastic resin is obtained by pressing 17, after which it is evaporated 10 with a metal player then coated 11 with a dielectric thin-film.
