Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the cylinder with a good roundness at good work efficiency without causing the material deterioration, by ironing the surface of the cylinder on the side different from the side where plural number of concave portions are formed, and by absorbing the excess metal generated during the ironing work into the concave portions.
