Abstract
PURPOSE: to improve the accuracy of a magnetic field by allowing eddy currents to be reduced effectively in a torus tupe fusion device, by means of allowing the reduction of mechanical strength of stands to be reduced by reducing the number of separation of the stands, by setting up an electrical insulator at the one part of the stands which form the eddy current loops.
CONSTITUTION: In a case when the stands 8 of a torus type fusion device are divided simply to a toroidal direction, the distribution of eddy currents 17 is resulted in one round distribution of the divided stand. But, slits are so set up that the interval from a torus part to near of the tours radius Ro at the center of a plasma 9 may electrically be insulated to the toroidal direction, intead of reducing the dividing number of the stands 8 to the toroidal direction 1, by looking at this eddy current distribution. By such means, the strength of the stands is sharply inceased, becuase that the mechancal division of stands 8 at the outer circumferent side part of the torus can be reduced
